What results have businesses achieved from Practical Leadership training?
A wholesaler operates an inbound order-taking contact centre. Before “Practical Leadership” the grade of service (speed with which calls are answered) was around 70 per cent and error rates in double figures. We coached the front line manager and within two to three weeks grade of service was above 90 per cent (faster and more effective answering of calls) and error rates dropped to below 5 per cent.
A team leader was worried that one or two of her staff members were not working as productively as they should be, disrupting and placing an unfair burden on the rest of the team. She lacked the confidence to tackle the performance issue until she underwent Practical Leadership coaching, after which she was able to safely tackle the issue and bring the performance of the staff members back to what was expected.
